Now, after more than eighteen months, we're coming to the end of the project. Closing date for entries has passed and there are more than 50 films in the bag.

It would be wonderful to continue film-making and film events, perhaps we may be able to access further grant funding in the future.

The Final Premiere Event is at Sheringham Little Theatre, 7.30pm 22 May 2011 Entry Is Free, and it's a spectacular 2 hour show (with interval) Seat booking advisable: Box Office 01263 822347

"2 Minutes of Your Time"

Cromer & Sheringham Community Film Project

WHAT ? The idea is to produce a series of film sequences made by the community in and around Cromer and Sheringham.

Each participant will contribute a 2 minute segment about their town and the lives of the people who live, work or visit there. The films will be assembled onto a DVD, to be sold locally. £1 from each sale will be given to our local RNLI stations.

WHEN ? First Screenings: Crab & Lobster Festival, May 2010. Full Premiere: Cromer and Sheringham Arts Festival, Oct 2010. Final Premiere: Crab & Lobster Festival Sunday 22nd May 2011
2 Towns - 2 Festivals - Living the Life!

WHO ? The whole community.... fishermen, schools, disabled people, migrant workers, youth organisations, artists, poets, dogs, older people, musicians, gardeners, posties, shop staff, surfers, EVERYONE CAN JOIN IN. For those unable to handle equipment, volunteer film-makers will help. There may be some training for those who need it.

HOW ? Production equipment is available in both towns, & people can produce film using basic video, digital still cameras and mobile phones.The final result will be assembled on a professional editing system.
